MUST WATCH VIDEO: Enda Kenny cornered and chased in Dublin

In unprecedented scenes, a major security operation was undertaken this afternoon in Santry, North Dublin when Taoiseach Kenny was trapped in a sports complex. The beleaguered Taoiseach, who arrived at the event in a €76,000 Audi, was said to visible shaken by the ferocity of the protesters.

Gardai fought to keep the baying crowd who had surrounded the building, from actually getting at Mr Kenny. His car was under siege from the moment it was in sight.

One of the protesters said “this is what Kenny will endure every time he’s seen in public until he’s gone”. No Taoiseach, including Cowan, has ever engendered the level of hate that Kenny has.

A protester told TheLiberal.ie “If Kenny was livid with us yesterday, he’s in fear of us today”. It has emerged that Gardai used pepper spray on protesters outside Coolock garda station tonight 7pm when groups of people gathered to demand the release of 5 protesters arrested earlier today who allegedly tried to attack the Taoiseach.
